My
Holidays
In 1996,
when I got settled after years of study, the first question in my mind was
where I was going to spend my holidays. I discovered a place via the
Internet in Tennessee, USA, which has been my regular haunt in July ever
since. I love the countryside and the wide open spaces. I also
have acquired a taste for traditional mountain music.

In
2002, I got the opportunity to travel to California and learn how to ski
with a family I met in Bromley, Kent. They took me to San Francisco
and the surrounding area. I returned here in 2003 for a second year of skiing. Maybe this time I will take photos of me skiiing -
not pretty, but I can do it.

Also
in 2003, I was dragged kicking and screaming (only joking) to
Sydney, Australia. As well as exploring the city we also spent
a few days in the Blue Mountains, where we met a very friendly
local!
