Tennessee Bluegrass
I have acquired a taste for traditional mountain music, know as bluegrass.  In the past few years I have attended quite a few festivals.  Most of the time we just stand under the "shade trees" and listen to the musicians enjoying themselves.  These photos were taken in Smithville, Tennessee, where I regularly attend the Fidlers Jamboree on July 4th weekend each year.

For some, however, this is a serious business and there is big money available to the best!

Another favourite haunt of mine is the Station Inn in Nashville, where Bluegrass Bands play.
