This transceiver is a converted ex-pmr (RATS Mk.3) for 4m.

I have recently installed the Ascom in my vehicle, and it works very well.   In fact, in early tests, the propagation characteristics are much better than 2m over longer distances.

I believe every amateur in the UK should have one of these!  I bought mind from RATS at the Leicester show at Castle Donnington.  See Stephen Tompsett's site for further details.
