This is a real tech-toy.  I am not sure though how useful it is.  It is a five watt handheld transceiver for 6m, 2m and 70cm.  

It does provide a very useful test tool though.  I have often needed to make test calls on it, so that I can check that my other transceivers are working at all.

Pros:  Lithium Ion Battery, Rugged Design.

Cons: Squelch system and receive sensitivity!
